Kelvin MacDonald gives his first reactions to the Comprehensive Spending Review

RTPI Senior Vice-President Richard Summers chaired a hugely sucessful and engaging discussion at this year's Conservative Party Conference which was attended by 120 conference delegates and RTPI members. 

Speakers at the event were: Sue Percy, RTPI Director of Professional Services; Michael Chater, Chairman of National Association of Local Councils; Cllr Gary Porter, Chair of Environment Board, Local Government Association; and Bob Neill, CLG Minister with responsibility for Planning.

The RTPI held a highly successful Fringe Event at the 2010 Lib Dems Conference in Liverpool around the subject of 'Giving people a voice in Planning'.

Speakers included CLG Minister, Andrew Stunell; Dorothy Thornhill, Elected Mayor of Watford; Sue Percy, RTPI Director of Professional Services and Sue Shaw, Chair of Action in Rural Communites in Rural England. The event was chaired by RTPI President Ann Skippers.

Sue Percy kicked off the debate.
